Villeroy & Boch’s Goals

The leadership wanted the ability to monitor and optimize some important processes in their logistics and warehouse operations online. With the right combination of our range of digital transformation and training services, we were able to successfully support Villeroy & Boch with these goals.

Our Solutions
Our consulting team organized a 3-day on-site workshop for Villeroy & Boch software developers to familiarize them with creating APEX 5.1 applications.
As a practical exercise, we first tackled visualization programmed during the workshop. With our help and training, our customer was able to easily create the required application independently with APEX charts based on Oracle JET. This assistance helped them get off the ground and begin developing their own APEX visualizations.
The End Results
Heinz Haben, Head of Global Logistics Processes and Systems at Villeroy & Boch, praised our helpful workshop.
“In search of a suitable solution for this, we were informed by PITSS about the possibilities of APEX 5.1 and decided to take advantage of the offered workshop. During the workshop, a first version of the new application was created … With the acquired knowledge, we were able to finish it quickly and without problems ourselves. We are therefore very satisfied with the outcome of the workshop.”
The new application not only works flawlessly for Villeroy & Boch, but also offers various new usages. In particular, the application features a customer-facing dashboard with multiple ads and automatic updates that is very well received by the users.
As a result of a successful collaboration with PITSS, Villeroy & Boch was able to optimize their process visualization and meet their goals.
