Every PITSS.CON license contains a number of users which can be installed. Depending on the number of PITSS.CON users purchased in your license, the number of license PITSS.CON users is equivalent to the number of PC workstations which can be assigned to PITSS.CON. A list of all registered workstations can be found in the Workstations Administration module in the MIG Administrator user.
‘X’ PITSS.CON Users = Max of ‘X’ Registered Workstations
Example: If you have purchased 5 PITSS.CON users, up to 5 workstations can be registered into PITSS.CON which can use the application.
When a user logs into PITSS.CON from a PC whose workstation is NOT in Workstations Administration, the PC will be registered into the Workstations Administration module. However, if the number of workstations registered matches the number of licensed PITSS.CON users, anyone who tries to connect into PITSS.CON from another workstation will receive the following error:
The maximum number of workstations is reached! Please contact your PITSS.CON administrator.
Fortunately, you are able to remove workstations from the Workstations Administration module in the MIG user. You may accomplish this with the following steps:
- Log into PITSS.CON with the MIG user
- Go to Workstations Administration
- You will see a list of the registered workstations. You will need to remove a workstation before a new one can be registered. To remove a workstation, click on a workstation other than the one you are currently logged in with and press the “Remove Workstation” button.
- The workstation will now be removed. Feel free to remove any workstations you need to.
After applying the steps above, the new PC should be able to log into PITSS.CON without seeing the error.
