PITSS and Hansen Technologies Announce Strategic Partnership for BannerCX Upgrade Program

Hansen Technologies, one of the world’s leading providers of billing and customer care technologies for utilities and municipalities, has partnered with PITSS, the leader in digital transformation for legacy applications.

Together, they have created a fully tailored program to upgrade organizations to the new  BannerCX, Hansen’s end-to-end customer care and billing system. The partnership seeks to create a cost effective, efficient, customized upgrade process, while at the same time maintaining the customer’s application modifications and enhancements.

The PITSS tool-assisted, semi-automated upgrade approach quickly identifies these customizations, reduces code clutter, and creates a path to move an outdated Banner CIS application to the latest supported version while retaining business-critical system changes.

This process creates a system that contains business-critical customizations while leveraging past and future years of investment in Banner CIS. This allows the utility or municipality to retain the flexibility, familiarity, and efforts that they have built and invested in over the years.

Hansen Technologies has invested two years of significant R&D that has led to a major redesign and modernization to BannerCX (formerly Banner) that was released March 31, 2018.  The result is improved User Experience (UX), CSR efficiency, and reduced operational and implementation costs.

After an initial engagement with PITSS and Hansen, organizations will receive a full assessment report of their customized Banner application with a proposed upgrade solution, timeline, and cost.

Utilizing this process to upgrade to the latest version of BannerCX, organizations can lower risk, minimize setup time, and see almost immediate value.
