Das steht fest. Ob noch in 2024 oder Anfang 2025 ist nach all den vielen Ank\u00fcndigungen und Verz\u00f6gerungen kaum noch von Bedeutung.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Forms 14 kommt und f\u00fcr manche Kunden ist es ein Segen, dass die vielf\u00e4ltigen Bitten, Aufforderungen, Petitionen, Besuche im Oracle HQ letztlich zum Erfolg gef\u00fchrt haben. Sie k\u00f6nnen Ihre bew\u00e4hrte Plattform \u00fcber das bisherige Supportende 2026 bis mindestens Dezember 2032 weiter entwickeln und weiter betreiben. So zumindest ist der Stand der Dinge heute, im Dezember 2024. Eine weitere Verl\u00e4ngerung \u00fcber 2032 hinaus ist zumindest im Bereich des M\u00f6glichen. Aber vielleicht ist der Bedarf in acht Jahren dann auch eher \u00fcberschaubar.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr andere bietet dieses neue Release und die damit verbundene lange Support-Unterst\u00fctzung (f\u00fcnf Jahre Premier-Support plus drei Jahre Extended Support) gen\u00fcgend zeitlichen Spielraum, um eine Migration zu planen und ohne allzu gro\u00dfen zeitlichen Druck in Angriff zu nehmen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Die Oracle Forms Community ist gro\u00df und stark<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>Oracle hat auf die Kunden geh\u00f6rt und eine wichtige Entscheidung pro Kunde getroffen, auch wenn Oracle seine neuen Systeme mit APEX und nicht mehr mit Forms entwickelt.
